The Nebraska Children’s Home Society is excited to announce that a unique scavenger hunt, “Hunt for the Home”, is underway!
It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3…
- Find the hidden NCHS babyface logo in each participating Aksarben Village business.
- Write a brief description of where you found the logo on the official game card.
- Return game card to the SAND IN THE CITY® information booth, June 10-12 @ Baxter Arena.
Game cards are available at the following Aksarben Village businesses: Aksarben Cinema, Dickey’s, DJ’s Dugout, Dudley’s, Gandolfo’s, Makovicka PT, Ponzu, Spirit World, Voodoo Taco & 18|8 or visit www.nchs.org for a printable game card.
One lucky winner will win an Aksarben PRIZE PACKAGE including a hotel stay, movie, dinner, salon package and more!

June 11: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., Family Fun Days
June 12: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., Family Fun Days
NCHS’s Sand in the City® is celebrating our 13th year. This FREE event is like no other! Eighteen corporate teams will compete on Friday to build HUGE, amazing sand sculptures. YOU get to vote for your favorite during the Family Fun Days on Saturday and Sunday. PLUS, build your own sand castle on our gigantic sand pile. The best part, all proceeds & donations benefit the children and families NCHS serves across the state of Nebraska.
Since 1893, Nebraska Children’s Home Society has been providing safe and loving care for children of all ages. We help women and teens facing unplanned pregnancies; strive to build, strengthen and support adoptive, biological and foster families; provide early intervention programs; offer teen pregnancy prevention education; and ensure that children begin school ready to learn.
